Ken Eastman

Born in 1960, Ken Eastman attended the prestigious Royal College of Art in London, where he perfected his skills in ceramics working and devoted himself, in particular, to vase making. He was awarded the “Premio Faenza” in 1995 and won the golden medal at the 1st World Ceramic Exposition 2001 Korea. In 2003 he was appointed member of the International Academy of Ceramics, and his works are currently on display in a number of museums and international exhibitions, such as the Shigaraki Ceramic Cultural Park in Japan, the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, USA, the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney, the Museum Boijmans van Beuningen in Rotterdam, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Montréal, and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. He also gives lectures at a number of universities worldwide.
