Angelo Scavone

Angelo Scavone was born in 1956. He earned a Law degree at the University of Bologna. He held numerous institutional offices. He was provincial councilor of Bologna (from 1980 to 1985 and from 1995 to 1999). Moreover, from 1981 to 1986, he was a member of the G.P.A. at the Prefecture of Bologna. From 1990 to 1995 and from 1999 to 2004 he was municipal councilor playing a key role in managing the institutional relations with the University. Currently, he is Associated Professor of Public Institutions at the Alma Mater Studiorum. Starting from 2005, he is the Chairman of the Committee of Bologna of the society Dante Alighieri. It aims at protecting and spreading Italian language and culture all over the world.
